www.nimh.nih.gov/anxiety Home page of the Anxiety Disorder Education Program of the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH). The site contains a listing of factsheets, booklets, videos, and other resources available from both NIMH and other organizations.

www.socialphobia.org is the homepage of the Social Phobia/Social Anxiety Association. Has a good amount of information on social phobias and anxiety.

Denali Kid Care <http://www.hss.state.ak.us/dma/denali.htm> is Alaska's Medicaid program for low-income children. The family income limits are higher than those for other medical assistance programs, and the program functions as an insurance program.

The Alska Foster Parent Training Center <www.mosquitonet.com/~afptc> is a non-profit organization focussing on educating foster parents.

<www.pacer.org> PACER Center's mission is to improve and expand opportunities that enhance the quality of life for children and young adults with all disabilities - physical, mental, emotional, learning - and their families. PACER now offers 20 major programs. PACER's programs help parents become informed and effective representatives for their children in early childhood, school-age and vocational settings. Through knowledge about laws, resources and parents' rights and responsibilities, families are better equipped to work with agencies to obtain appropriate services for their sons and daughters.

Alaska Medicaid News is a source for Medicaid news relating to Alaska's Medicaid programs.

Alaska Community Action on Toxics is spearheading a coalition to "Establish Our Right to Know about Pesticide use in Alaska"; MHAA supports this effort. Currently, Alaska has no reliable source of information about what pesticides are used, where or in what quantities they are used. With pesticide use data, a large number of planning and public health decisions can be made in an informed and more appropriate manner.

International Rare Disease Support Network <www.raredisorders.com> is a site which provides support eGroups for persons afflicted with rare diseases.
