Business-class
e-mail
The InterJet II
receives e-mail sent to your domain name, and delivers it to each employee's
individual mailbox over your internal network. Its comprehensive features
include spam blocking, which helps filter unsolicited
e-mail, and the ability to create mailing lists.
Users can set automatic vacation replies and
mail forwarding and access their e-mail
from outside the office.
Internet
access for your employees
The InterJet II
connects your whole office to the Internet (up to 100 users) through
a single connection and supports your employees' use of any of the most
popular Web browsers. A variety of features is available to help manage
your company's use of the Internet, including the ability to control
access time and produce usage reports. Web site
blocking, a feature that helps limit your liability by keeping inappropriate
content out of the office, uses the industry-leading CyberPatrol®
CyberNOT list,
which is automatically updated weekly.
Web
Server
The InterJet II
provides both an external (Internet) and internal (intranet) Web server.
Web sites can be created using any web-publishing software and simply
copied into the appropriate folder on the InterJet (easy drag and drop
publishing). Your external company Web site is automatically mirrored
to a high-speed, offsite Web-hosting facility2
.
Firewall
security
The InterJet firewall
helps keep your internal network resources hidden from the outside and
is pre-configured for your peace of mind.
File sharing
The InterJet II
provides a central location to store and exchange files with others
on your internal network, with support for both PC and Macintosh¨
users, and also
creates an individual file space for each employee. It includes a File
Transfer Protocol (FTP) server for sharing large files with customers
and suppliers (recommended with full-time connection, e.g., DSL).
Secure
remote access to your network
This feature2
enables
your employees outside the office to use the Internet to retrieve e-mail
and files, to share documents and use all the capabilities of your internal
network, all with security features to help you protect your data.
Easy
administration
The InterJet II is designed
to be administered by an employee with only basic computing knowledge.
It has an easy graphical interface that is accessed via a Web browser.
New employees can be given e-mail and Internet access with just a few
mouse clicks, and there is simple, easy-to-follow online help.
