Sleeping Beauty

We Can Walk Together...!

This is a wide technirama cel of Briar Rose with her forest friends from Disney's Sleeping Beauty which premiered in theaters in 1959. This technirama cel is set against a complimentary photographic background and comes a separate cel level of her animals friends. for this layout drawing appears in the film when Merryweather brings the mop, bucket and broom to life. After the mop, bucket and broom walk down the stairs, they then join Merryweather on the other side of room. This layout has a lots of detail and is beautifully drawn with various color highlights and includes sequence, scene and camera references.

A Dress A Princess Can Be Proud Of!

Here is another detailed layout drawing of the interior of the cottage in the glenn from Disney's Sleeping Beauty which premired in 1959. This layout appears at the end of the dress and cake making sequence. What is particularly nice about this layout is the dress made for Princess Aurora is in blue pencil on the chair and the cake Flora created is in green pencil on the table. The large technirama sized drawing has other details in colored pencil and would make a nice companion to the Fauna cel which maybe matching.
