active. There are over 200 locations with thermal springs or geysers. It
is the region of Russia distinguished by its ecologically unique landscapes,
and biological variety.
Tour Petropavlovsk, a modern Russian town with typical
Russian style architecture. Petropavlovsk is the main educational and cultural
center of the region. A visit to the local museum is a must to learn about
the region's history and how it relates to the indigenous population. A
day will be spent on the Bystraya river for an easy rafting trip.
