Arrival time: Provideniya 0930 +1 (Monday)

Upon arrival, proceed through Russian Customs and Border Control.

Transfer to the city of Provideniya and your accommodations. The city of Provideniya is the most eastern Russian port in the Arctic. Its population is 5000, of which five percent are either Eskimo or Chukchi. There will be a tour briefing and orientation with your guide and lunch, followed by a visit to the Provideniya Museum. The rest of the afternoon will be spent walking and meeting with local people of Provideniya. Dinner will be a typical Russian meal. Overnight in Provideniya

Breakfast in the morning at your apartment house. We will drive from Provideniya to Novoe Chaplino, the home of 500 Eskimos. Located beside a deep fjord, magnificent in its beauty, it is one of the most picturesque places. on the Chukotka Peninsula. This village was built in 1958 when Yupik Eskimos were relocated from their original village on the gravel spit of Cape Chaplin. Some 170 species of birds can be observed on the Chukotka Peninsula. A Russian style dinner will be served again tonight. Overnight in Provideniya

Breakfast in the morning at your apartment house. Visit to the Pioneer House for local entertainment and possibly to a local green house factory. Transfer to airport for your flight back to Nome

Arrival time: Nome 5:00 p.m. ( Tuesday )

Upon our arrival in Nome we proceed through United States Customs and Immigration.
