Center (KIC)
On the North Slope of Alaska, we have operated Kuparuk Industrial Center since 1984. This self-contained, full-service oilfield support base includes a 3.2 megawatt, dual fuel power generation facility, a state-of-the-art water and tertiary wastewater treatment plant, a 245-bed resident facility, 60,000 square feet of shop and warehousing structures, and bulk fuel storage and fuel dispensing operations.
We provide food service; telecommunications maintenance; vehicle and equipment maintenance; security and fire protection; fabrication shop services; vocational training; equipment and facility leasing and management services; and contract procurement, expediting, and warehousing services. In addition, we operate the only Environmental Protection Agency-approved commercial chemical testing laboratory in the Arctic, providing analytical and testing services for more than 60 clients.
