4 W AIR
Bill and Sheryl Woodin are the founders and sole owners of 4 W AIR, an FAA licensed air taxi. Bill has been a year-round resident, flying Alaska since 1982. Sheryl was introduced to Bill through a mutual friend in 1986 and were married the same year.
Bill is a Commercial Pilot and has logged in excess of 5,500 hours of flight time, the majority of which has been in Alaska. He learned to fly while serving in the United States Marine Corps. All of his instructors through Private, Commercial and Instrument Rating were active-duty "top dog" military aviators. Bill does all the flying for our guests. He is also a Coast Guard licensed fishing guide. He strives to make your experience a positive, safe, enjoyable adventure.
Sheryl is a wonderful wife and support for 4 W AIR......in spite of who she's married to! She has been helping Bill cater to guests from around the globe since 1986. Sheryl also owns The Quilting Bee, a machine quilting service, located on the Kenai Peninsula, where we live when not in King Salmon. Her quilting services are highly sought after by quilters too numerous to count. She is a wonderful mother to our daughter, Serena. |
