Greetings friends and family,
     This web site is the result of me taking a web page design class.  Pretty frightening what happens when computer illiterates acquire such knowledge.
     Why The Purple Cow? 
     I combined my favorite color  with my affinity for bovines - and voila - The Purple Cow was born.  Oh, and then there's that Gellett Burgess Poem.
     What can you find here?
     If you click on Barn Raising, you will find information about the house we had built last summer (2000) and continue to work on.
  Udderly Delicious contains recipes that (even though I don't really enjoy cooking) have made time in the kitchen more tolorable, perhaps even a bit fun.  And with the recipes shared by family and friends, this page grows and grows!
  What's Moo?  (Not much, what's moo with you?)  This page is ever changing.  Go there to see the monthly calendar and find out "what's moo" in Glennallen.
  Puppy Tales is where you need to go if you want to find out what our daughters (Megan, 6 and Sammie, 8) are up to.  This is where I post some of their artwork and writing.
     I may not enjoy cooking, but I love a good cup o' joe.  Coffee Brakes lists some of my favorite places to get a latte.  Most are drive through, thus "brakes."  Get it?
