Sherrie's Page

Thank you for visiting my page. I hope to give you a taste of who I am and the things I enjoy.  As you can see, I love horses, especially Arabian horses. Although I do not own a horse at this time, I do hope to be owned by one again. I still ride when I get the chance and really do enjoy training them. Alaska is a difficult place to own and ride. With the weather, expense and the time required (since I work full time) it is just not the season for owning one of God's greatest creations.

When I came to Alaska in 1982 I brought my beautiful Arabian Stallion, Boriffic, with me. He is a grandson of *Serafix. Below is a picture of him and me at the Alaska State Fair after placing second in English Pleasure. This picture was taken in the summer of '82.

About a year after this picture was taken I sold Bo to a wonderful lady in the Matanuska Valley. It was a difficult decision, but I had no place of my own and he was much happier on her 140 acres than being in a stall with a small paddock.

Sherrie and Boriffic
Bo was a wonderful gentleman and friend and I still miss him. I am now begining to breed, show and train Labrador Retrievers. Please visit my Lab page Shiloh Labradors to see my wonderful Labradors.
