Tigger was with us since his birth in 1985 and passed on in 2004. He loved to sleep under the covers with Kristi when she was home. He tried to sleep with us but that didn't work since this cat snored. So "Tiggie", as we called him, slept elsewhere. You could often find him perched in one of the windows enjoying the sun and watching the birds.  I have bird feeders outside and it was a constant aggrivation to Tigger since the feeders are high up, out of his reach. He did, sad to say, catch a bird on occasion. In Tiggie's last few years he had diabeties so had to have insulin shots two times a day. He was a friend to all (even the puppies). We sure miss you Tiggie.......

Then there is our faithful Caleb "the Wonder Dog". Caleb joined our family in 1994 when he was 10 weeks old. He made the long journey from Missouri to Alaska and is truly an Alaskan dog. He loves the snow, water and outdoors. But, his most loved thing is the Frisbee! You mention that word and he is immediately at your side with great anticipation. He will then not let you rest until you go outside and throw the "disc", as we have to call it. I have started my Labrador Retriever Breeding program with two nice girls, "Candi" and "Bekah". You can see them on their links from our Shiloh Labradors page.

Caleb and Ken were great running buddies. Ken would start putting on his running shoes and Caleb was jumping up and down trying to hurry him up so they could "go for a run". He is now retired from running and frisbee as there was a to much in his younger days and he is a bit lame now. I don't think you can beat a Lab for a great family dog and a true blue companion.

Then there are some of our "wild pets".  This squirrel has raised a family around our house. They love to tease Caleb since they seem to know he can't get to them. The girls haven't quite figured out what Caleb is after, but it won't be long.
