Chugach Powder Guides has assembled a group of highly-trained, professional guides and pilots to make sure your skiing experience is as exciting and memorable as it is safe. Collectively, our guides have years of experience in avalanche forecasting, first aid, and mountain rescue. Many of our guides spend the entire winter season in Girdwood and watch the snowpack develop from the first snowfall to the final days of spring skiing. In addition, they have years of experience in the Alaska backcountry and are accomplished skiers as well as mountaineers. We can confidently say that CPG has more combined experience than any other Alaskan heli-ski operator.
