Description:

The intent of this event was to create a discussion on knightly virtue using a handout as a starting point. The handout included excerpts from Christine de Pisan on the knightly virtues along with some 'starter' questions and a very brief biography.

How it Went:

The flyers were handed out at the constab table, but no discussion actually took place.

Yule is one of the largest events of the year in Eskalya, and feast is a busy time with servers and other entertainment and what not. It never seemed like an appropriate time to start the conversation even though several people were each prepared to do so.

Lessons Learned:

In hindsight, this type of discussion is probably too specialized and intense for casual inclusion in an event. At least for now, it seems better suited to a special feast, such as one following a Pas d'Armes or a special event, such as the Love Revel which occurred a couple of years later.
