Challenge at the Borders from the Baronial Guard (Eskalya)

Description:

Without telling anyone in advance, the Baronial Guard gathered together with their ladies one Saturday, and headed to the 'four-corners' of the Barony. The Guard members themselves were in garb and armor, the others in mundanes. At each stop, Lord Connor sounded his horn and Sir Georg read a declaration stating the Guard's willingness to defend the borders and challenging any who would dare offend the Barony; Lord Alfonso posed. Pictures were taken at each stop, including one of the entire group of those responsible and a framed presentation with photos and text was prepared. This was presented to Their Excellencies at the next event.

How it Went:

Surprisingly, a very nice family afternoon for something that kinda sounded like it was going to be work. Instead it was a nice opportunity to get out and about during the winter.

Lessons Learned:

It's good to have fun with your job.
