Hannah took mommy (and the stroller) walking for 45 minutes on May 30. Since then, she's been much happier to walk than to crawl, depending on the ground. She holds her arms out and up for balance, most of the time, yet she tries hard to seem confident. She's also been telling us more actively what she wants-- in words and in signs. It's a fun journey!
Words she says: wa (water), yea, Jesus, milk, more, mom, dad, down stairs, (two separate words by themselves and together) sit, light, bear, play, baby, hi, hello, change, juice, chicken, ball, dog, Tay (Taylor--one of my students she sees weekly), gram ma, gram pa (each two distinct words/syllables)
Signs she knows and uses: milk, more, bird, water, change (for diaper)
Body "parts" she'll point to: Nose, toes, glasses, eyes, mouth, fingers
Songs she knows: (and how she requests them): Itsy Bitsy Spider-- She can do all the motions, but she usually starts with "Out came the sun" or "Down came the rain" This little light of mine--has her index finger and thumb up, moving back and forth Jesus loves me--We have a book that we sing alone with, but she has started saying "Jesus", and I'll sing that song when she says that I'll try to add to this list later on. That's our Hannah baby as of June 5!
And now, a photo journal from Daddy--Hannah and her toothbrush...
