[PT] [ACS] Continuity
Top | ACS Internet | feedback

This page is an effort to plan for what will happen to various things that I maintain on the Internet or in other digital forms. It is adapted from Eric S. Raymond's continuity page.

If you're reading this and have solid reason to believe that I'm out of the game and the designated successors listed here don't know it, please email them all and ask them to re-read this page and take appropriate action.

I designate Bryan Medsker and David Kohfield, both of Anchorage, AK, to be my Internet and computer co-executors. They have the authority to coordinate whatever actions are needed to transfer my projects into safe hands. Stephanie Bauer of Anchorage, AK and Jack and Carol Williams of Loma, CO will have insight into what my wishes might be, and I want them to also be involved and consulted.

My license plate collection
To become the property of any children that I may have. Stephanie Bauer and my parents may select any that they would like to keep as well. For any portion of the collection that any of the above do not wish to retain, I recommend that Dirk Starck of Eagle River, AK be consulted to broker any sales.
All my other non-personal projects and FAQs will be up for grabs. If you want to claim control of one, send mail to my virtual executors. They'll arbitrate between conflicting claims, arrange the transfer, and flag the project claimed.

People to notify (other than the above):

Additional instructions for executors: Please add appropriate notice, pointing to royce.ws, to the top of my various home pages and social networking pages. Please also post some kind of notice to the AKLUG, usual-suspects, and freebsd-sparc64 mailing lists. My designated next-of-kin is Stephanie Bauer, my girlfriend.

And some parting thoughts ...

Unpleasant Ways to Die by Elan Fleisher. One of my favorites.

And here's a cartoon from Harry Bliss that seems appropriate.

Harry Blass comic from 2007-10-17. If you folks can give me a couple minutes, I do believe a table's opening up.

It was fun, wasn't it?
