Marty Pellessier's Barbequed Shrimp

Not really Barbequed, but Pan Fried

Ingredients:
1 pound of unpeeled Shrimp

 

1.5 sticks of butter

2 garlic toes, minced

1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce

half of one beer

 

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper

½ teaspoon thyme

½ teaspoon rosemary

1/8 teaspoon oregano

 

Wash the shrimp, drain or dry them so they don’t bring water into the hot butter.

Mix the dry seasonings.

 

Melt 1 stick of butter, Worcestershire, garlic, and seasonings over high heat.

 

Add shrimp, cook for 2 minutes while shaking the pan constantly.

 

Add ½ stick of butter, cook for 2 minutes; keep shaking the pan.

 

Add the beer, cook and shake for one more minute.
