What is an ALASKAN?

An Alaskan is somebody who is in and likes Alaska, especially if he/she has the guts, can work with tools, and won't quit.

The saying is that "...some get off the plane and are Alaskans, and some stay all their lives and aren't Alaskans!"

In 1867, Secretary of State, William H. Seward bought Alaska from Russia for $7.2 million dollars (2 cents an acre!) a bargain for which some call "Seward's Folly"
