Miscellaneous

Each room has a fire place with two comfortable sitting chair and a desk with a chair. Located in good view of the queen size bed is an armoire with a T.V. and VCR. Near each bed is a phone with an added feature of voice mail. Cable T.V. is also provided for our guests.

Cafes

There is a cafeteria located in the Federal Building that is open to the public for breakfast and lunch, Monday through Friday, except federal holidays. There is quite an array of food that is reasonable priced. Also, the Alaska Museum of History and Art, located across the street from the Federal Building has a cafe. One block south of the Herrington House is the 8th Avenue Cafe.

Location

The Herrington House is located downtown at 702 Barrow Street close to the central business district. We are one block from the Federal Building, the Anchorage Museum of History and Art, near the old City Hall and conveniently within walking distance to shopping, restaurants and the Log Cabin Visitor Center.
