There are many incredible sportfishing opportunities on Alaska's Kenai
Peninsula starting with the world famous Kenai River. Best known for producing trophy size
King Salmon over 50 lbs from May - July, the Kenai also offers exciting sockeye,
silver, and pink salmon fishing. Alaska Angler offers 1/2 day or full day power and drift
boat fishing charters on the Kenai River. The nearby Kasilof River presents anglers with
lots of action and King Salmon averaging around 25 lbs. This is a drift boat only fishery
with excellent fighting, fresh from the ocean salmon. After a couple days salmon fishing,
try your luck against the barn door sized halibut in Cook Inlet. These flat fish monsters
average around 40 lbs with fish over 200 lbs being caught regulary!
For an adventure your not soon
to forget, take a fly out fishing trip to the west side where pristine wilderness streams
await you. Fly fishing these waters for trophy Rainbow Trout, Char, and Grayling can be
very rewarding. You will enjoy some of Alaska's finest scenery with snow covered mountains
