Existing Water &
Wastewater Systems
For the moment, ADEC is not issuing traditional “Health Authority Approvals” (HAA)
for well & septic systems. Lenders typically require adequacy testing with a
Professional Engineer’s verification letter – acceptable in lieu of a HAA for
financing private, single family residences. A typical package includes a well
flow test & septic adequacy test, coliform bacteria sample, ADEC forms and a
verification letter. A surveyor’s asbuilt and septic tank pumping may also be
required, and may be coordinated through our office. We can offer you the
following:
• A commitment to quality service. Providing consistent, timely results is a
high priority for us. We prefer to deal with happy clients and keep them
that way. Sellers and/or agents have many other details to keep track of –
let us address the water/sewer issues for you.
• A broad base of local experience. Our staff has provided engineering
services for residential and commercial sites from Sheep Mountain to
Talkeetna, including over 900 homes in the central Mat-Su area.
• Very competitive pricing. Contact us for a quote!
• A conservative approach. We consistently strive to achieve a comfortable
margin of performance in our testing and design. If an existing system is a
marginal performer, it will be represented as such to avoid unpleasant
surprises after the sale.
• Flexibility and availability. Whatever it takes to get you on your way! We
can provide rush services for design, inspection and documentation of
upgrades, can help find a reliable contractor if one is needed, can design
water storage systems and innovative septic systems – whatever is required.
If we can’t help directly, we know someone who can. Our staff is as
available as technology permits – we respond to office and mobile voice
messages, beeper, fax, office & instant messaging.
