I moved to Hope, Alaska in 1994 from the back hills of Oregon where my grandfather taught me to mine gold from the age of 10. Come on over and let me show you how it's done. I have been featured on the Discovery Channel's Cache and Treasures show. Teaching Alaska's visitors about Hope's gold mining past has been a natural for me.
