"Paradise Found" - 14 Day/13 Night Itinerary

DAY 1
Arrive Nandi on the Island of Viti Levu, the largest of the Fijian Islands. Transfer to full-service hotel. All rooms with private bath. Enjoy open-aire dining/bar and take a swim in the pool.

DAY 2
Today we drive along the beautiful "Coral Coast" to the town of Pacific Harbour (2 hours). Stay at private villa.

DAY 3
After breakfast we leave for a day of paddling on the Luva river. Overnight at villa.

DAY 4
Depart early this morning for a delightful drive into the highlands and to the put-in of the Nauva river. Set camp and enjoy the tropical evening beneath the stars.

DAY 5
Begin the paddle down this Class III/IV river, only recently opened to the outside world. The water is warm - the waterfalls spectacular cascading down limestone walls as we paddle through paradise. Plenty of time for swimming. Camp along the river.

DAY 6
Floating/paddling and camping.

DAY 7
Today we paddle to our pick-up point where a native Fijian long boat will motor us to the coast. We pass through villages along the way - the people are warm and friendly. Overnight at villa in Pacific Harbour.

DAY 8
Today we drive the short distance to Suva, the capital of Fiji, for our commuter flight to the island of Kandavu located 45 minutes to the south. Upon arrival we will immediately be transferred by boat (1 ½ hour ride) across the South Pacific to Ono – Paradise Found. Land on a sandy beach where you will be shown to your bure, a traditional Fijian thatched-roof hut.

DAY 9 - DAY 13
These days will be spent sea-kayaking, snorkeling over coral reefs, hiking to the top of no or simply relaxing on the beach beneath a coconut palm. Enjoy fresh local seafood home baked breads and a village Pig Roast.

DAY 14
Today we leave before lunch for Kandavu and Nandi. Check-in at the airport for flight home. Time for shopping and farewell dinner in Nandi. Flight departs 10:00pm.

PRICE: $2750.00 per person

Includes all transfers from Nandi, accommodations, meals, group expedition equipment, guides and planned activities. Does not include airfare to Fiji, or personal alcohol. Optional activities such as scuba diving or deep sea fishing available for fee.
