The Geographic Data Service Center (GDSC), located in Lakewood, Colorado, has the mission of developing and implementing policies, procedures, standards, goals, and objectives for all spatial data technologies and applications throughout BIA. In accomplishing this mission, the GDSC supports Tribal and BIA offices in the implementation process. Services and support provided include but are not limited to:

In accomplishing this mission, extensive efforts are made to demonstrate and effectively transfer the capability to apply these technologies at the field office level. These services are available (at no charge) only to official BIA offices and federally recognized Indian Tribes.
