Kenai Peninsula’s Internet ConnectionFresh Roasted CoffeeLunch Specials

Coffee Roasters originally opened its doors as Coffee-n-Cake at the Carrs Mall in Kenai. The year was 1990. The first espresso shop on the Kenai Peninsula. The menu was small, offering only espresso and lattes and mochas. The food menu included our famous blueberry muffins and cheesecake. There were only four or five tables and a few pictures on the wall. Business was tough with daily explanations of the coffee concept and introducing espresso to the public. As the months went by, Coffee-n-Cake expanded to serve a lunch menu: fresh home-made soups and sandwiches.

In 1992, Carrs (the Alaskan grocery store chain) moved out of the mall. Most businesses closed or relocated. Thanks to our customers, we were encouraged to continue, so we relocated to the Red Diamond Center in Soldotna. With this change of location, we decided to rename the shop, Coffee Roasters, and provide locally roasted coffee to the surrounding area.

As of this year, 1999, Coffee Roasters is maintaining its high quality standards and adjusting to the ever-changing circumstances that life puts before us. Coffee Roasters' staff remains true to the addiction of caffeine and enjoys pulling a fresh cup daily!  Lunch specialties are served daily, come sit and enjoy!
