We fish all five species of Pacific Salmon, the first to arrive and the largest
are the Chinooks or "Kings". The four others, the Silvers (Coho), Reds
(Sockeye), Humpbacks (Pinks), and the toothy Chums (Dogs) all come into our
drainage during July and August.
All species are available for both spin and fly fisherman.
Our rainbows vary
greatly in coloration and size based on drainage and time of year. The largest
ones are usually caught in late September and early October as they gorge
themselves in preparation for winter. The river will also hold a multitude
of Arctic Grayling and Dolly Varden during this time of year. The Dollies can
sometimes rival the Rainbows in size with the Grayling coming in much smaller
but with some still reaching 20 inches.
Please note: All resident
fish including Rainbows, Dolly Varden and Arctic Grayling will be released.

S ee the
Fishing Calendar for the peak salmon and trout seasons.
Fly-fishing only charters can be arranged
(common for trout and silvers) as can shorter trips. Access to our fishing locations will
usually be aboard one of
our covered 23' inboard jet boats, with most fishing taking place from the shore. Our guides are licensed
by the U.S. Coast Guard and accomplished fly fisherman, all have been running these rivers professionally
for many years. We can offer you the personalized and professional Alaskan fishing trip you are expecting!
