InterJet
reports much smaller hard drive space than expected
|
|
Problem:
|
The InterJet's total hard drive
space is reported to be about 600 MB on a 1.2 GB drive.
|
|
Solution:
|
WhistleWare OS versions prior
to 1.1 report the hard drive space without accounting for
the space required by the operating system. If you have
version 1.0 or 1.0.4, only space available to users is reported
in the System agent. To change the reported space to include
the operating system, use the latest version of WhistleWare.

Which
cable should be used to connect the InterJet to the LAN
|
|
Problem:
|
The InterJet is provided with
multiple Ethernet cables to be used with a Local Area Network
client or hub. Which one is the correct cable?
|
|
Solution:

If you are using an InterJet

- Use the blue Ethernet cable
to connect one of the InterJet's four Ethernet ports to
a client computer on your LAN.
- Use the orange Ethernet
cable to connect one of the InterJet's four Ethernet ports
to a port (not the uplink port) on an Ethernet hub, which
is in turn connected to computers on your LAN.
If you are using an InterJet
140 or 200:
- Use the blue Ethernet cable
to connect the InterJet's Office Ethernet port to a port
(not the uplink port) on an Ethernet hub, which is in
turn connected to computers on your LAN.
- Use the orange Ethernet
cable to connect the InterJet's Office Ethernet port to
a single client computer.
