Using the InterJet^¨ FTP server
If you need to share large files with your customers and suppliers, you know how time consuming it can be to e-mail the files back and forth. The InterJet FTP server can provide anonymous FTP service. Anonymous FTP service allows anyone on the Internet to access your FTP site and download files, but generally people on the Internet cannot upload files to your site.

You can also choose to allow specific people on the Internet to upload files to your FTP site by using the Personnel Agent to create FTP user accounts for them, and providing them with login names and passwords. In this way, you and your customers and suppliers can exchange large amounts of information quickly and easily.

How this Feature Works
The servers, or hosts, for your public Web and FTP sites should reside on computers that run 24 hours a day, so people can access your sites at any time. Given that sites on the Internet are accessible from anywhere in the world, it would be a serious limitation if your sites were available only during your organizationâs working hours. It is therefore recommended that you choose a full-time connection if you wish to use this feature.
