U.S. Coast Guard Base
Kodiak, Alaska

U.S. Coast Guard Base, Kodiak, Alaska. From October 1991 to December 1996, PMC provided base operating support services at the U.S. Coast Guard's largest base - the 21,500-acre Support Center, Kodiak - for Coast Guard personnel involved in air and sea search and rescue, marine safety and navigation, environmental protection, military preparedness, fisheries, and law enforcement. PMC operated and maintained facilities, equipment, and vehicles; and performed construction; hazardous materials management; employee training; vessel operations and spill response; road, runway, and port operations; materials handling; and custodial, housing maintenance, and change of occupancy services.

On 20 June, EPA and ADEC inspectors visited our sewage treatment plant. They were impressed with the knowledge, proficiency, and training of the operators (PMC employees), and with the overall condition of the plant. Please pass my appreciation to (them). Through their efforts, our relationship and reputation with the inspectors was strengthened.
