Client
machines cannot browse the Internet
|
| Problem: |
Client machines can see the
InterJet and internal clients. The InterJet can ping the
outside world successfully. Client machines cannot see external
Internet devices. |
| Solution: |
Within the System Agent/InterJet/General
Configuration/Network Configuration, look for the field
"Enable address translation". Make sure this box is selected,
and click the Apply button. |
Limit
client browsing to certain sites.
|
| Problem: |
You would like to
limit client browsing privileges. |
| Solution: |
Use the Schedule
page and the Surf Blocking feature to manage users' access
to Internet sites. |
Can't
find organization's web page location on InterJet
|
| Problem: |
The InterJet's default web page
continues to be displayed on client machines, though the
organization has created a new web page. |
| Solution: |
The organization's internal
web page location is: http://interjet/internal/organization/index.html
The organization's external
web page location is: http://interjet/public/organization/index.html.
To make sure client machines
see your new web page, replace the files in the locations
above with your customized web pages. Your LAN clients
will then see your organization's new web pages from the
buttons on the WhistleWare main agent page.

Can't find an
individual's web page location on InterJet
|
| Problem: |
The individual's default web
page continues to be displayed on client machines, though
the individual has created a new web page. |
| Solution: |
An individual's internal web
page location is:
http://interjet/internal/users/individual's
account name/index.html
Insert the individual's InterJet
account name in the URL listed above to identify the default
location. To make sure client machines see your new web
page, replace the files in the location above with your
customized version.
