Peninsula College - www.pc.ctc.edu - Port Angeles, WA

My name is Jim Cheney and I am the Head Softball Coach at Peninsula College. Peninsula is a community college located in Port Angeles, WA. We play in the Northwest Athletic Association of Community Colleges (Washington/Oregon). We are very interested in recruiting High School athletes from our neighbor to the north. Currently, nearly half of our 60 athletes are Alaska students. We not only offer an attractive out-of-state tuition waiver, but we also provide athletic scholarships to the fullest extent allowed by the NWAACC. If you have any athletes who might be interested in Peninsula College, and specifically our softball program, please contact me at jkcheney@olypen.com or 360-452-8895.

I am planning a trip to the Alaska High School State Tournament. I would like to meet with you and to build a relationship for the future. I coached at Peninsula College from 2003 - 2006, then left to watch my youngest daughter play at  the University of Pennsylvania. I received a call from the college this past winter and returned this year. Our basketball and soccer programs have had great success recruiting from Alaska, and I plan to follow their lead. Please share my contact information with any players who would like play fastpitch in college.

Agnes Scott College

My name is Jeannie Ray; I am the new head softball coach at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, GA. I am looking for players in
ALL positions. I plan on only keeping 3 girls for next year so any freshman that I recruit will have a good chance starting
next year. ASC is a small division 3 all-girls liberal arts school. We are six miles away from downtown Atlanta without ever
getting on a highway and less than 10 minutes from Georgia State and Georgia Tech. ASC is an extremely difficult school to
get into. Since we are division 3, we do not offer athletic scholarships; however, we do offer a lot of academic
scholarships. Less than 2% of the girls that attend here pay full price. If you have any girls that are interested in
attending ASC next year they must have at least a 3.0 or higher GPA and score a 25 or higher on their ACT and/or 1700 or
higher on their SAT.

If you know of anyone that may be interested I will need their name, address, phone number, e-mail address, class (of 2007),
and high school they attend. Once I have this information I will send them information on ASC.
