Syd Sligh opened with four innings of perfect no-hit pitching and was followed by Tasha Petska with 2 innings of no hit pitching but a run on a walk, fielder's choice, stolen base and a wild pitch. Jessica Buckley went three for four in leadoff with 4 stolen bases and doubles were provided by Chelsea Carr and Alecia Stafford.

Pitching started wtih Ashley Kettelle for two innings and an inning from Tasha Petska and Syd Sligh ended up with the loss in the last inning on a 2 out walk and error. Bats were provided by Alivia Erickson and runs on aggressive baserunning after walks in the 2nd inning

Pitching By Sydney Sligh for four innings with 7K and four runs coming on walks and passed balls. Rest of the runs on walks, passed balls and an error. Homer hitting paced by Ashley Kettelle and Brittani Stafford.

Full game pitched by Syd Sligh with 8 strike outs including the entire side in the second inning.. Hitting by Jessie Erickson, CHelsea Carr and Jane Bradshaw with doubles and Syd Fell with a triple. Jessie, Jess and Brit just keep getting on base. Up 9-0 with bases loaded and one out in the bottom of the fourth, Homer could not quite get the tenth run over the plate.

Game 5- May 5th, Homer 8, Soldotna 7

Soldotna broughtr a strong defensive team intending to shut down the small-ball game. Syd Sligh was the pitcher of record, throwing all 7 innings with 10 strikeouts, 8 walks and 2 hit batters, leading to most of the runs scored. Homer came out down three runs in the bottom of the seventh, with the top of the order up. Singles by Brittani and Livy followed by a double by Chelsea got the game closer. with a sac fly by Ashley getting the score to 7-6. Jesse singled to put runners on first and third and Syd Fell singled to the right field gap driving in the tying run and a throwing error allowed the winning run to score.

Game 6-May 8th-Soldotna-Non Conference

Syd Sligh pitching with 8 K, 3 Walks. Tight game until the 6th with Ketchikan scoring 4 unearned runs. Mariners attemptign to come back with the first HR of the season by Chelsea Carr.

First conference series started off well with Syd Sligh pitching all 7 innings with 10 Ks and 3 walks. Hit production from Liv Erickson, Jaclyn Arndt and the second HR of the year form Chelsea Carr. Kodiak going through three pitchers.

Nightcap started with Kodiak opening with 6 Runs on a combination of errors and several hits and one walk from Syd. Petska then pitched second and fifth innings to record the loss with help from Zoe Fogg for two innings. Hits from Buckley, Arndt, a Double from A. Stafford and a HR from A. Erickson.

Rubber game on Friday was played in drizzly conditions. Started by Syd Sligh for three innings with 9 runs given up with three Ks, 5 walks, 2 HBP and some errors. Petska and Fogg both saw action on the mound. Homer hits from Buckley, Carr and A. Erickson - all with extra base hits.

Started off well with Syd Sligh pitching. 2K, 3 BB, Defense faltered with stolen bases, passed balls and errors. East pitcher Ng started with a walk to Buckley then settled down for 7 K and the only other base runner was on an error. Defensive highlight was Alivia throwing out a runner at the plate from centerfield. East is top team in Anchorage

Experimental game based on the coaches decision to move players around and shake things up as well as trying other pitchers. Errors again are the downfall but much of that is on coach shoulders for the wide change in position play. Good game experience for the other pitchers.

Probably our best game of the weekend. Complete game by Syd Sligh with 7 K, 4 BB. Defense again the issue. Aggressive hitting and baserunning from Chelsea and Sydney Sligh.

Syd Sligh pitched entire game. Great comeback from Kodiak with time running out as they hit 2 HR and a triple. Time ran out withthe top of the order ready for the 7th inning.
