META-SEARCHERS...

Meta-Searchers allow you to search several search engines simultaneously with a single query. They do not maintain their own internal database, but instead query others. Search logic can depend on the combination of the metasearcher and the originating search engine site.

Provides a choice of a fast or a comprehensive search of many search engines, including Alta Vista, Excite, and Lycos, HotBot, WebCrawler, Yahoo, and Galaxy. Results are organized into a uniform format and displayed.
