Overview of Representative Gruenberg and UAA
Representative Gruenberg was elected in 2002. He supported the 2007 budget bills in the House that were favorable to the University. He received endorsements from APEA/AFT and United Academics during the 2006 election. He was endorsed by United Academics AAUP/AFT and APEA/AFT in 2008.
In 2009, Representative Gruenberg was a cosponsor for HB30 and HB54 which would repeal the current defined contribution retirement plans. Representative Gruenberg was endorsed by APEA during the 2010 General Election.
In 2010 and 2011, Representative Gruenberg voted for the floor amendment to increase the UA budget. The amendment did not pass.
