Overview of Representative Tuck and UAA
Chris Tuck was first elected to represent district 29 in the November 2008 election. He did not respond to the UAA Faculty and Staff Association’s survey. He was endorsed by United Academics AAUP/AFT and APEA/AFT. Representative Tuck was a co-sponsor for HB30 and a primary sponsor for HB54 which would repeal the current defined contribution retirement plans. Representative Tuck was a primary sponsor for HB56 a bill for student loan forgiveness and a co-sponsor for HB58 which concerned repayments of educational loans. Representative Tuck also was a co-sponsor for HB94 for postsecondary scholarships.
