Overview of Representative Millett and UAA.

Charisse Millett was first elected to represent district 30 in the November 2008 election. She did not respond to the UAA Faculty and Staff Association’s survey however she did attend the candidate’s fair at UAA. Representative Millett was a primary sponsor for HB58 which concerned repayments of educational loans. She was also a cosponsor of SB221 which establishes the Alaska Merit Scholarship program. SB221 was approved and forwarded to the Governor.

In 2011 Representative Millett was not a vocal advocate for the University.
