Stroll down the natural walking path which brings you to the door of this charming private cottage. Guests have complete privacy for their coming and going at any hour of the day or night!

Awake in the morning to spectacular views of the Matanuska Glacier and the uniquely shaped Lions Head Mountain without getting out of bed! All wood interior makes for a relaxing spot to unwind after a long day, or to set the mood for a romantic evening! Sip hot coffee or tea at the table as you enjoy the beautiful mountain view, or if you're lucky, observe a moose that may happen to stroll by. Dry floral wreaths adorn the walls, and homemade quilts and accessories are lovingly placed throughout the cottage...just awaiting your arrival!

This newly constructed log cottage offers spectacular, unobstructed views of the Matanuska Glacier and Mr. Wickersham.  We feel this cottage might possibly have the best view of all, but we'll let you decide for yourself!  South facing, this cottage has lots of natural light and a south facing deck to relax on.  Guest parking is conveniently located just a few feet from the cottage.

Constructed in 1996 with your privacy in mind, the suite offers a comfortable resting spot for families, or couples traveling together. Bright, clean bedrooms with cozy comforters are warmly decorated with accents of Alaskan wild flowers and berries. Relax outside on the patio, while taking in the beautiful surroundings, or if you lose track of time on that afternoon hike, dine out at the Grand View Cafe.

Cancellation Policy:

Prior to your arrival:

  • A Credit Card is necessary to confirm a reservation, and will not be charged unless it is necessary to charge the processing fee or cancellation fee.  Payment due at the time of arrival.

  • 2 - 7 days  ~ Guests credit card charged the greater of 1 night or 50% of total reservation.

  • 24 hours or less ~ your credit card will be charged full amount.

  • "No Shows" will be charged full amount.

  • Processing fee of $25.00 will be charged for any cancellations made to your reservation 10 days after your original booking date.
