Water Park Adventure in West Honolulu
The Water Adventure Park is located on the far west side of Honolulu. You take H1 west till you get to Exit 1. The park offers a range of water slides from scarey to tame. One ride I enjoyed was the slide that was 4 stories tall. You slide out staring off slow then go off a cliff and free fall down 4 stories at Mach 1 speed then crash into the water at the base creating a huge spash. The force of the water eventually brings you to a stop at the bottom of the slide. This ride is a real rush. There are other more tame rides that are also fun. The park has a simulated river that you can float inner tubes around in it. What they do not tell you is that on the other side of the river you are forced to go underneath a water fall that surprises the first time rafters. Your floating along in peaceful bliss when you hear the ever louder roar of falling water to suddenly realize after it is too late that your going to get hammered. The park also has a pool with a wave machine. They practice surfing at various times of the day. Other times is just play time for people on inner tubes. They also have waterfalls you can swim under, and a nice jacuzzi to relax in at the end of the day.
