Sveta & I had lots of fun at Hanauma Bay. It is a popular snorkling destination that offeres on site rentals . They have secure lockers to store your gear and offer the latest snorkling equipment including masks, snorkles & fins. All you have to do is just show up with your bathing suit. Located just a few miles down the road East out of Waikiki the bay offers beautiful views from the adjacent mountain. We saw many tropical fish while snorkling here. One word of caution is the reef is sharp and can cause serious cuts if your not careful. Some of the areas are shallow and the incoming waves can bounce you off the coral if your not careful. Hanauma Bay is a beautiful and colorful place to spend a day at the beach, snorkling, and hiking up the mountains.
