Whale watching is a favorite southeast Alaska pastime. Humpback and killer whales are here in large numbers. Sea lions, and seals are abundant and sea otters are occasionally seen. Eagles are everywhere as are a multitude of sea birds. Generally calm waters make this an ideal setting for viewing and photographing wildlife and scenery. There is a high probablility of a close encounter with humpback whales, eagles, seals and sea lions on any half day trip. Unlike other boats, the trip is yours. If you book it, you and your friends will be the only clients on the boat. Trips listed below are only samples of possible itineraries. Every trip is a custom adventure. Six people maximum on day trips, 3-4 people for multiple day adventures unless spending the night ashore.
