Administrative Support Services
Business Services Cooperative
The cooperative uses computerized accounting and telecommunications
to deliver business and accounting assistance to school districts and municipalities
at two levels of service.

Level 1 Basic Services, includes accounts payable and receivable,
payroll, general ledger, bank reconciliation, financial monitoring, filing
of grant claims, and audit ready accounting records.

Level 2 Financial Consulting Assistance, provides budget management,
budget preparation and review, consultation and monitoring, and fiscal
reviews in addition to Level 1 service.
Management services range from budget management to managing funds.
School Administration/Facilities
This unit assists districts through the complex process of school construction
and maintenance projects. Services include six-year capital improvement
plans, long-range facility plans, and feasibility and pre-planning studies.
Project management, fiscal planning, site selection, state and federal
reporting, and selecting an architect are just some of the additional services
available.
Migrant Education Terminal Center
Migrant education staff, with the assistance of an in state computer programming
firm, developed a statewide database of migrant students. The database
replaces the federal record system and compiles information from five databases.
Statewide reports can be easily generated and the status of individual
students tracked. Migrant education staff provide technical assistance
to districts regarding student certification.
Superintendent/Principal Services and Superintendent
Searches
This research-based process identifies the candidates most qualified for
positions as superintendents or principals. The Center has a history of
successful placements. In addition, the Resource Center provides short-term,
interim administrative services, allowing time for a thorough search for
the right candidate.
Special Education Administration
From pre-compliance reviews to daily program administration, certificated
staff offer an array of administrative support services for district special
education programs. Experienced specialists work with district staff to
understand and apply regulations and statutes, support staff in their delivery
of instruction, work with staff to understand and implement best practices,
and/or provide overall program supervision and administration.
Publication Productions/Graphics
Incorporates technology in a range of services including newsletter publication,
multimedia production, and web-page development.
Federal Program Cooperative
Experienced certified staff members assist districts in the administration
of special revenue grants, including grant applications, grant modifications,
technical assistance, and preparation of annual reports.
Federal Programs include Title I (parts A and C), Title II, Title IV,
Title VI, Indian Education, Carl Perkins, and Johnson O'Malley. Community
School state grants are also administered through this program. |
