Both of your hosts are pilots and enjoy flying around Alaska in their Cessna 182. Most of their trips are to Seldovia to deliver food and goods to Swan House South each week. Judy has been an air traffic controller with the FAA since 1978 and currently works at Anchorage International Tower; Jerry has retired from the FAA. Their hobbies include golf, gardening (the greenhouse in Seldovia is finally complete!), collecting antiques, flying, building, and the "girls", Poppy and Lily, their Cocker Spaniels. Jerry is a long-time Alaskan (since 1964), and has also lived in Germany and Japan, where he was with the FAA. Judy has been in Alaska since 1990 and moved here from Washington D.C. Jerry is originally from Bach, Minnesota, and Judy is from Pueblo, Colorado. They both now consider Alaska their last home, with thoughts of a few months spent somewhere warm in the winters.
Lily and Poppy are their only "kids" living at home and travel with them between both places. The girls are always happy to meet all the guests.
