Saint Peter's by-the-Sea Episcopal Church in Sitka, Alaska, is steeped in the history and traditions of early Southeast Alaska.  Please take a few minutes to visit their wonderful website.   St. Peter's is one of only four sites worldwide that have a planting from the Glastonbury Thorn. There is the original--"planted" over 2000 years ago by Joseph Arimathea--at Glastonbury Abbey, one at the Royal Palace in England, one in Washington DC, and now...one in Sitka, Alaska.
