My grandmother used to babysit me, and take me to work with her when she worked at the nursing home that used to be on Old Seward, about 3/4 of a mile past the sawmill club heading towards Dimond. The buildings are still there, all boarded up, on the left side of the road as you drive south. But it was there that I remember laying in a (stroller, bed, lap) listening to the piano. 'The Entertainer' was the first piece of music that I can ever remember knowing. (The second, you sordid people, was 'Venus', by Frankie Avalon.) It was there also that one of the residents knitted me a blanket, which is now in my sisters possession. #04 ORION::PSCRC Tue 04 Oct 1994 17:02:19 ( 5/ 291) From: Des' Bruja Well... there was this bright slight... then all these poeple talking... it sounded kind of like this... Ok your asking for it. Because I believe in past lives, I can recall a faint memory of the 15th century. ( I did a past life mediation) I must have been about sixteen. I was looking in some water, I think I was a handmaid to some royality, because behind me there was a lady dressed in very fine apparel. and I got the impression I was washing her feet. Ok so that's cheating. ( and maybe a bit odd) Now for this mundane exisitance here on this earth in this life time? An interesting question, interesting enough to compete with my most recent thought obscession. Oh it really isn't much just a cult... It all started when a friend of mine had a vision of he and I wrapping ourselves in tarps, and committing suicide. The whole ordeal was extreamly ritualistic... It was so obvious he had been devinely inspired! After many sleepless nights, 3lbs of coffee, 5lbs of sugar substitute, and a case of creamer (the lite variety) we came upon further inspiration! Tarps (Hence forth refered to as "Holy shrouds of a divinely favorable and spiritual concecration of the afterlife in all its glory and (sex) richness" WOMEN and (sex) mystical ritual (or something)...I believe we are on the right track... Anyway, my earliest memories, sometime after I hatched, and my mother regularly regurgitated my meals-fresh from her craw- which was much too early for me to remember, thank goodness! Naturally she insists on reminding me over dinner. I do fondly remember stretching my black wings as I attempted to fly for the first time. Its been so long! Was it for real? I had almost come to believe I was human (what a scary thought); but then being a shape shifter has its hav hazards! (though Im sure running this IRN is the greatest hazard of them all.
