If a person can keep the sex interesting in a relationship, that relationship is going to last a very long time. If more relationships lasted, and people were more interested in being faithful, then the rate of AIDS spreading would be greatly reduced. Marital bliss could take on new meaning. An open mind is the next most important, I think. Crebs Subject: Re: LAST QUESTION OF YEAR! Hey All I'm not exeactly sure what an is-should-be question is. Regardless of that fact I can answer this question easly. Patience is by far the greatest virtue. If a person is not possesing patience they certainly should (this statement therefore should fulfill the criteria for the should be portion of the question.) I belive I'll launch this disscusion with an example. Place yourself behind the counter of the local burger flipping establishment. Customer "A" approaches the counter. "Give me a double sliding burger and a quart of french fries." Money tightly clenched in his sweaty hands, he practicaly shoves it down your throat before you can get the order punched in. After ringing up the bill and handing back the change to the outthrust waiting hand, you quickly run around to prepare the order for this obviously hurried little man. You've bagged everything and are setting it on the counter, the man quickly snatches it from your grasp says "it's about time" and boogies on out the door. To yourself I'm sure you are proclaiming at this instant "what an A*%#O!E!" Before you can completet this thought though the next customer is before you. Being your swift burger flipping self you instantly revert from insulted mode to waiting and helpfull mode and say "welcome to Slideing Burger Land. How can I help you today?" The smileing face across the counter causes you to smile yourself despite the ill occurance you've just suffered through. "Oh I think a Slickey Chickey Burger sounds good, and let me have one of those soggy apple pies too, don't you just love those?" "Yeah I'm kind of partial to those myself" you reply. After a leisurely stroll through the keyboard you inform the owner of the smileing face of the cost of the meal. "That's a pretty good deal" comes the reply. "If I'd known that it was so cheap to eat here I'd have come here a long time ago." After waiting for the payment to be pulled from the customers wallet and deposited to your care you carefully count out the correct change and then count it again as you hand it to the customer. You then glance at the customer smileing turn around and begin preparing the order. Crefuly you select the proper sized bag, and then the warmest sandwich from the back of the sandwich shoot that they come from. After placing this in the bag you go to the soggy pie sunlamp heater, being very selective you grab the soggiest of pies with stuff oozing from the corners of the cardboard container it's in, just the way you like them. You take this carefuly prepared package to the smileing customer, and hand it over. The same warm smile which has prevailed throughout the encounter greets you when you get to the counter. "you've been very kind to wait on me so nicely" the smiling customer says. "I believe that from now on I'll insist that I have you wait on me whenever I eat here. of course that will be every day because now I know how cheap it is to eat here, and of course my favorite soggy apple pies are here as well." Having said the the customer turns around and says fairwell while walking leasurly from the restaraunt. Most of you having read this must surely understand now why I say patience is should be the greatest virtue. For having read this surely took a great deal of patience. You therefore are truly patient and virtuous. If for some reason an imapatient and nonvirtuous person does actualy read this last statement by some accidental freak of fate which is in no way my fault please disregard it. #19 ACAD2A::VNNBJ Thu 23 Apr 1992 06:41:23 ( 6/ 418) From: NEXUS 6 Subject: Re: LAST QUESTION OF YEAR! i am most impressed by the sense of humor. the sense of humor is like a ruler to measure people by,someone who can't laugh at themself or continualy laugh at others has a low self esteem. on the other hand one who can laugh at themself tends to be a little more sure of themself, and overall happier. so taking all this into account i would have to say my most prized human virtue would have to be really big breasts. #20 ACAD2A::VNNBJ Thu 23 Apr 1992 07:13:34 ( 7/ 451) From: NEXUS 6 Subject: Re: LAST QUESTION OF YEAR! I think the sense of humor is a very important virtue to humanity. The sense of humor is like a ruler to measure people by; someone who cannot laugh at himself ,or continualy laughs at others ,lacks in self- -esteem. On the other hand ,someone that can laugh at themself ,or accept ridicule from others ,is a well balanced ,mature individual. So with these factors in mind I must conclude ,that I prize most of all human virtues.. really big breasts. #21 ACAD2A::ASTJM1 Thu 23 Apr 1992 07:53:48 ( 4/ 66) From: The Cure Subject: Re: LAST QUESTION OF YEAR!
