Hi performer! We're looking forward to
a great season of music downtown at the
Music in the Park and Alive After Five series,
Galway Days, and the
AWAIC Summer Solstice Festival

I'm the sound engineer for the concerts, Rick Miller. Many of you I know, most will recognise me as the sound guy for Whistling Swan Productions and the Anchorage Downtown's Music in the Park. Some of you may be friends not yet met, and I'm looking forward to working with you.

I need each performer to clue me in as to what he/she will need for their performance. This includes microphones, instruments, monitors, etc, and stage positions for each.

You can get me this data in a number of ways. If your setup is simple, simply call or email me with the data. My phone is (907) 274-1534 (Creative Resources) or (907)243-5758 (Home). If you have a tech sheet prepared, fax it to me (907)272-1077 (Fax) or attach a pdf or jpeg and email it.

You can download a tech sheet, print it, fill it out and fax it. It's a PDF file, and will open with Adobe Acrobat* If you're really computer savvy, after you download the tech sheet, annotate with Acrobat, then send it back. This is the format of tech sheet I prefer, because it contains all the information I need to prepare for your performance, including both the stage map and the input list. If you have trouble with any of this please call.

If you're uncertain about what goes into a tech sheet, or how to determine what you need, download the instruction and sample packet from my Soundcheck Like a Pro workshop. (Download the course handout here 11 pages, 552K)

*You can download the most current Acrobat Reader here - it's free.
