SONGWRITER'S RETREAT
As the tenth anniversary songcamp we are restructuring the camp this year only as a songwriting retreat. Instead of hiring outside instructors, we'll come together as equals to share what we've learned, work together on our songs and performance in small groups and one-on-one, and have a low-stress, fun, and rejuvenating four days.
The deal is this: we have enough people already committed to participate at a per-person cost of just $200 each, so we can cover the cost of the camp, including meals. We'd like to keep the cost low, so we'll limit our promotion to email, word of mouth, and online. And in order to operate the retreat at that low cost, everyone will be expected to take a share of the responsibility for the retreat functioning, tasks ranging from food prep to planning to workshop leadership.
