Fishing for silver salmon in salt water is the finest, and that’s what Prince William Sound Lodge has to offer. Being located right on the sea, close to the Gulf of Alaska, one can expect chromers [fresh]: bright, fighting and on their journey to the streams of their origin. Prince William Sound has some of the largest of the silver salmon species, averaging 10 to 14 lbs. 

 

Season: August 21 through September 15. 

Cost: $1125/3 days & nights lodging. Additional fishing days $375 ea. 

Also available: Fly-in to other great spots at minimal cost.

Halibut Fishing
in the Gulf of Alaska


Board a Valdez halibut charter fishing vessel at Ellamar (where the Prince William Sound Lodge is located) on its way to the ocean. You will not only catch halibut but possibly view humpback and orca whales that feed where the Prince William Sound meets the Gulf of Alaska.
