About the Firm

OFFICE HOURS

The firm is open Monday through Friday, by appointment only, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m.

BEGINNING WITH THE FIRM

Discussing your legal questions with an attorney begins with a consultation, which is a low cost meeting which usually lasts for one half hour and is conducted in the law office. You can make an appointment for a consultation by calling our receptionist, at (907) 279-4529.

CONTACTING YOUR LAWYER

Staying in touch with you about your case is important to the firm, and we encourage you to call with your legal questions. At times, your attorney may be unavailable due to other cases. Most calls are quickly returned. We may utilize other staff members including paralegals to assist in the handling of your case. Often, their assistance can reduce the overall costs of legal services to you.

COSTS AND FEES

Payment must be made at the time services are rendered. Often, a retainer is required prior to performing legal work. A retainer is generally a refundable deposit which is placed in a trust account for your benefit. Clients are billed at an hourly rate, but some cases, such as personal injury cases, are handled on a contingency fee basis, which means that attorney fees are not assessed unless there is a recovery to you. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit card payments. We also accept clients who have certain legal service benefit plans.
