The Photographer

I began my interest in photography as a child, and that interest and passion has remained with me throughout my years. It was in 1967 that I developed the idea of performing projected panoramic images to music. Through this medium I discovered I had unlocked a doorway into an inner world of experiences that brought forth deep feelings of wonder and beauty. Over the years I have refined and perfected my technique of performing my panoramic images to some of the world's most beautiful music, and have created true concerts of photography, or symphonies of light. Since 1974 I have been calling these performances PhotoSymphonies. I now have thousands of three frame panoramas of Alaska, as well as panoramas of Kauai and Kenya. These images have been filmed for my multi-image programs. However, there are now several products that have grown from my work. These products can be seen on the Products page of this site.

Being a self-taught photographer, I have had to develop many custom devices to enable me to film these panoramic images, including special accurate panoramic tripod heads, special rain and snow protectors, and multiple camera platforms. At times, I altered existing consumer products to perform beyond their original design. The new world of digital image handling is now allowing me, for the first time, to join my three frame panoramas into one seamless print. This offers me the ability to create custom, one of a kind products. This new digital world is allowing me to reach you, through this web site, anywhere in the world, at any time.
