The Center For the Performing Arts

This is the newest of the PhotoSymphony locations, opening the summer of 1997. The Center For The Performing Arts is located in the heart of downtown Anchorage and is easily accessible from the Egan Convention Center and all of the major hotels. The program showing at this location is Sky Song, which will feature the delight and beauty of Alaska's sky. This program could just as well be known as the Seasons Of The Sky. Featured will be many auroral displays, sunsets, rainbows, sundogs, and moonscapes, all celebrating the incredible beauty found in that space where the earth touches the sky. These performances can be seen in the Sydney Lawrence auditorium each day from May 19th through September 15th. There will be a show every hour, on the hour, from 9:00 AM through 9:00 PM. Tickets can be purchased at the theatre or from your tour vendor if you are on an Alaskan cruise package, and can be used for any performance.
